Biography

Cathy Canney came to MIT’s Quest for Intelligence with twenty years of experience in higher education administration, including seven years serving as chief of staff to the dean of the MIT Sloan School of Management. Her experience in fundraising, communications and branding, and operations, as well as her great appreciation and admiration for MIT’s powerful mission and the Quest’s ambitious vision, are well-matched to her Quest role - building engaging, intellectually-rich, and mutually beneficial relations between the initiative and organizations around the globe.

Cathy earned her undergraduate degree from Connecticut College, and her MBA from MIT.
