This panel discussion will address topics such as the need to create a new class of AI systems that can perform with increasing autonomy, more self-reliant training, and with far less data. The conversation will be moderated by David Schubmehl, Director of Cognitive and AI Systems, IDC Research.This discussion will explore the types of challenges researchers and experts face as they work to achieve this next level of AI and explore things such as the importance of transitioning to broad AI that performs effectively and fairly in the real world using new methods and techniques like neuro-symbolic. Panel speakers are: MIT professors Leslie Kaelbling and Josh Tenenbaum, and IBM director of the MIT-IBM Watson AI Lab, David Cox.
