In this combination Mission and Platform update, Quest Director Jim DiCarlo and Quest Research Scientist Michael Lee will present current research from the Perceptual Intelligence Mission and the Intelligence Observatory Platform.
Jim DiCarlo is the Peter de Florez Professor in the Brain and Cognitive Sciences Department at MIT and the Director of the Quest for Intelligence. His research focuses on understanding the neural mechanisms that underlie visual information processing, and aims to utilize this understanding to develop more robust artificial vision systems.
As a Research Scientist with the Quest, Michael Lee leads the development of the Intelligence Observatory, a platform built for large-scale behavioral studies. He also seeks create computational methods that leverage psychophysical measurements in order to infer the contents of human perception.
