Biography
Biography
Guangyu Robert Yang is an assistant professor in the Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences, and the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in AI+D in the Schwarzman College of Computing, and an associate investigator at the McGovern Institute at MIT. Yang is a computational neuroscientist developing sophisticated neural network models with the goal of defining wholistic, integrative brain functions. The Yang lab focuses on building multi-scale, multi-system integrative models of higher cognitive functions. Yang received his PhD in computational neuroscience from New York University and BS in physics from Peking University.
