Professor Tomás Lozano-Pérez is one of the 150 new members of the National Academy of Engineering.
Congratulations to Professor Tomás Lozano-Pérez on his election to the National Academy of Engineering in recognition of his contributions to robot motion planning and molecular design. Professor Lozano-Pérez is currently the School of Engineering Professor of Teaching Excellence in the Department of EECS and a principal investigator in the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, and he is a member of the Embodied Intelligence Mission, helping teach robots to navigate in a real-world environment.
