Asu Ozdaglar is interested in optimization for machine learning, and new models and algorithms for the analysis and optimization of technological, social and economic networks.
Asu Ozdaglar is a professor in MIT’s Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and the deputy dean of academics for the MIT Schwarzman College of Computing. She is also a member of the Laboratory for Information and Decision Systems and the Operations Research Center. Her research focuses on optimization for machine learning and new models and algorithms for the analysis and optimization of multi-agent dynamic networks (including technological, social and economic networks). Ozdaglar received a BS in electrical and electronics engineering from Middle East Technical University, and a PhD in electrical engineering and computer science from MIT.
